Naomi Wise

Naomi Wise is a cinematographer, director and writer with over 20 years of experience in documentary films and TV series.

As director, Wise's film Chinese Daughters garnered a Gemini nomination for best social issues documentary. In 2010 she was series director/show runner on the docusoap Tosca Flexing at 49 which won a Gemini for best lifestyle series. In 2013 Wise was director of photography on the feature documentary When Jews Were Funny which won best Canadian feature film at the Toronto International Film Festival. In 2013 she shot 15 Reasons To Live which was selected for HotDocs, The Vancouver Film Festival and the Atlantic Film Festival. Wise had the role of director and cinematographer on numerous feature documentaries and television series including: Intervention Canada (SLICE), Little Miracles (LIFE), Superhumans (TLC), Family Secrets (W), The World at Ten (NFB), Punch like a Girl (LIFE), Rainbow Warriors (TVE), Boxing: In and out of the ring (A&E/CBC)

Wise also has credits in feature films. She was co-screenwriter on the comedy Mouth to Mouth starring Javier Bardem, and associate producer on the feature film Los Años Barbaros, which was selected at TIFF. Wise also directed the short comedy film Second Thoughts.

When Wise is not in production she teaches cinematography and video production at Humber College, Ryerson and York University.

Peter St.Laurent

Peter St. Laurent is a Gemini nominated writer/director/producer for documentary television.

Over the past 15 years, St. Laurent has written, produced and directed for several Gemini award winning documentary series such as: Skin Deep, Writer/Director for Final 24: Keith Moon, a one hour A&E bio documentary on the legendary Who drummer. Other notable credits include: Series Producer for the hit documentary/reality series Pleasure Zone (CTV), Wedding SOS (Slice), Property Virgins (HGTV) and head writer for History channel's William Shatner's Weird or What? in which he was nominated for a Gemini award for Best Writing.

St. Laurent is also a music composer; He has scored several documentary series and has written and performed with a wide variety of live acts over the years.

March of the living – Digital archive project – a web based documentary series

In 2014 Garrison Creek Media was hired to create The March of The Living Digital Archive Project. 20 years of Holocaust survivors' testimonies filmed in Poland as part of the March of the Living education program are being catalogued and edited into short films for an interactive website and mobile application. The short film Reunions, produced as part of this project, was selected for the Hamilton Film Festival.

We are excited to announce, REUNIONS, a moving short documentary film produced as part of the March of the Living Digital Archive project, will premier at the Hamilton Film Festival November 4th and at the Vancouver Jewish Film Festival on November 11th.
